My next class in PUCPR Plurilingualism and Global Education course is about the brain and the mind. We'll be looking at some basic principles of neuroscience and psychology to better understand how our students learn, particularly in bilingual contexts.
The project we've been working on for months kicked off today with the students! Despite the terrible news about the pandemic getting worse in the country, today was a positive day. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to design a PBL experience for Brazilian and Mexican high-school students to exchange in English.
We're back! Rudy and I are going to pay tribute to those giants who came before us and allowed us to see further by standing on their shoulders.

Very proud to see another text I wrote featured on the School of Education Blog of my amazing alma mater, the University of Bristol. This time I talk about how science denialism has been creeping out of its cave and making its way into the highest seats of our Brazilian government.
