I had a great time teaching today's class on Neuromyths and the Mind, Brain, and Education Science for the online Plurilingualism and Global Education course from PUCPR.
My next class in PUCPR Plurilingualism and Global Education course is about the brain and the mind. We'll be looking at some basic principles of neuroscience and psychology to better understand how our students learn, particularly in bilingual contexts.
The project we've been working on for months kicked off today with the students! Despite the terrible news about the pandemic getting worse in the country, today was a positive day. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to design a PBL experience for Brazilian and Mexican high-school students to exchange in English.
