About

I’ve been an English as a Foreign Language teacher for 15 years and worked at different schools, universities, and in many businesses. I hold a BA in International Relations and an MSc in Psychology of Education at the University of Bristol, England, as a Chevening Scholar. I’ve worked as National Geographic Learning (Nat Geo + TED Talks content) academic consultant, teacher trainer, and materials reviewer. I’m the former president president of Partners of the Americas Goiás and I used to work as a Michigan Certificates Examiner. Currently, I serve as a member of BRAZ-TESOL’s Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) Special Interest Group (SIG) and bilingual program mentor for schools at Edify Education. I’ve recently started teaching about language, cognition, and bilingualism as a guest lecturer for PUC-PR in a few qualification and postgraduated courses. I’m a national and international speaker. I’ve spoken in conferences in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Portugal, the UK, Poland, Spain, Romania, Montenegro, Slovakia, and Hungary. My dream is to change education worldwide through the concepts of MBE.
